General Motors said it continued to see strong performance in small and mid-size cars and crossovers, but was slammed by the continued decline in truck sales, according to The Detroit Press.
While GM's car sales fell 12.1% in July, its truck sales plunged by nearly three times that amount: 35.4%.
Every GM brand saw sales fall. Saturn fared best with only a 13.6% decline. Hummer was worst: diving by 61.7%.
