Hurd Auto Mall has is now Rhode Island's exclusive distributor for Eurospeed Scooters which get 80 miles to the gallon.

Scooters, which do not require a motorcycle license to drive, are increasingly popular down my way in Jamestown. In fact, my brother in law is a big fan. He bought a scooter at the beginning of the summer and has put 1,400 milles on it buzzing around town and going to work in Newport.

Hurd says it just received a shipment of 100 Eurospeed Scooters in various sizes and colors, starting at $1,198 complete.
