Here's a chance to get your 1950s wheels on the silver screen. A local film company is looking for classic cars for its film "Atomic Beach Party" which it will be shooting in Rhode Island, Connecticut and Massachusetts from late September to early November. Scorpio Film Releasing LLC, "New England's Leading Producer of Nightmares," describes the movie as a 1950's-style sci fi/comedy/horror picture. The film is an independently produced period piece set in 1957, and Scorpio is looking for some classic cars from that era - 1957 and earlier - to appear in a variety of scenes to lend some authenticity to the film, according to producer Ted Marr. Scorpio said "Atomic Beach Party" marks Scorpio's ninth feature, six of which are in international distribution. If you have a classic car from the era and want to offer it for consideration, contact Ted Marr at scorpioproducer@gmail.com. - Peter C. T. Elsworth CommentsLeave a comment |
