First of all, let me officially apologise to Ric Mariscal whose name I misspelled in a recent article ("Museum of modified memories," Wed., Aug. 26) about the collection of local racing artifacts he has assembled with Bob Silvia. I called Ric when I was informed of the error and he was very gracious about it, but there is really no excuse for such an error.

In addition, number of readers called me for directions to their private museum in Pawtucket.

I had included the museum's website (www.pronynemotorsports.com) at the end of the article, but I should have included Ric and Bob's telephone numbers. The collection is private and open to visitors during restricted hours.

The address is 8 Cleveland Street, but call Ric at 447-4202 or Bob at 739-0039 to set up a time to visit. It's definitely worth it.
